I did all the steps to “You should see scrolling text on the screen now. If it stops anywhere then drop a comment and I’ll try to help you out.” but it stops with this message:
“Extension “com.apple.driver.ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin” has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.komponents; use only one style.

did u make sure that the partition you made is unallocated? I havent tried installing yet but I think that is a crucial point…

I think it work work just fine, concidering the Mac Website says any “Mac” computer with an Intel processor,
1GB of memory,
and 5GB of available disk space,
is the minimum. Since you have 2GB of RAM, it should run just as well as it would on a Macbook Air, or maybe a Macbook. The sound card DOESN'T matter at all, andd the Nvadia GForce 8600 GS shouldn't be a problem. I actually have 1GB of RAM and an Intel Celeron processor in my ancient Inspiron 6000, and Mac OSX Snow Leopard Runs great for me, expecially with my crappy video card. You should be set to go!
